Expansion of Shopping Centers in Cinere

National property developer PT Megapolitan Developments Tbk, through its subsidiary PT Mega Pasanggrahan Indah continues to spur the development of an integrated superblock area of ​​15 hectares in the Cinere region, the Centro Cinere.

The development carried out is to build a shopping center and culinary Cinere Terrace Walk that is connected to the Cinere Bellevue Mall shopping center which has been operating since 2014.

According to Managing Director of PT Megapolitan Developments Tbk, Ronald Wihardja, the addition of the shopping center area is based on high occupancy rates in the Cinere region.

Cinere is currently one of the favorite areas for housing because of its strategic location which is close to South Jakarta and is supported by various toll accesses. Along with residential growth, we are expanding a convenient shopping center so that Cinere residents can continue to do all their daily needs in the region, "he said.

Cinere Terrace Walk is a commercial area under the Cloud Tower and Sky Tower apartments with an area of ​​1.8 hectares. With the Cinere Terrace Walk the total area of ​​the shopping center building in the Centro Cinere superblock area is now 86,090 m2 with the total area being leased to 31,180 m2.

Currently the Cinere Terrace Walk construction has been carried out by the roof closing on Friday, March 24, 2017. "Cinere Terrace Walk is planned to start operating in 2018", said Ronald.

Cinere Terrace Walk carries the concept of al fresco dining food terrace with a modern shopping arcade located on the ground floor to the third floor of an apartment building with a height of 18 floors.

 

At present the progress of the construction of the Cloud Tower and Sky Tower apartments undertaken by PT Adhi Persada Gedung has reached the 10th floor height. Megapolitan Developments is targeting the handover of units to be carried out in the same year as the Cinere Terrace Walk operates.

Meanwhile Cinere Bellevue Mall shopping center rental rates have reached 80%. This shopping center is also integrated with Cinere Bellevue Suites apartments which were sold out in 2014 for a total of 1,069 units. At present the occupancy rate in these apartments reaches around 85%.
