PT Megapolitan Developments Tbk Provide Social Assistance

As a form of social care for the community, PT. Megapolitan Developments Tbk. provided social assistance to the Tresna Werdha Social Home Bogor on Tuesday 23 December 2014 in the form of warm blankets, hygiene kits, toiletries, basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, milk and so on.

"We really need warm blankets, toiletries and groceries for our daily needs. Our needs are very insufficient to meet the needs of around 60 elderly people, "said Irtantri Wulanjari as coordinator of the Social Services for Tresna Werdha's Home to Fanny S. Sutanto as Corporate Secretary of PT. Megapolitan Developments Tbk during the discussion some time before the delivery of social assistance.

"We are aware, the age of the elderly is a less productive age to work hard, because it requires more attention from all elements of society, including the government and other private companies so that the fate of the elderly get decent welfare," said Fanny S. Sutanto when delivering aid. Delivery of aid was symbolically received by the coordinator of the Tresna Wedha Bogor Social Home, Tantri, which was witnessed by more than 50 elderly assisted by the Social Home. At present the number of elderly people at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution in Bogor is 60 people, consisting of 59 women and 1 man with an average age over 65 years old and cared for by 6 caregivers and 13 volunteers.
